Summary Description
The Regional Account Manager-Southwest is responsible for all accounts in their multi-state territory. The classes of trade of these customers include regional accounts such as physicians, travel clinics, health departments, hospitals/IHNs and employer groups. This position reports directly to the Head of US Sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for territory performance and acts as the primary point of contact with assigned accounts, fostering and developing multi-level relationships
  • Provides key leadership role and guidance for the territory
  • Analyzes accounts’ near-term and longer-term objectives and develops strategic account and sales plans
  • Completes all territory objectives and achieves sales plan while operating within specified expense budget
  • Provide timely and accurate forecast for each assigned account. Develops business cases and proposals for specific customer contract offers
  • Responsible for knowing available territory markets, account potentials, and keeping current on changes that are taking place in these markets
  • Keeps current territory records concerning activities; communicates timely, accurately and meaningfully
  • Reports timely feedback regarding account trends and anticipated impact
  • Utilizes and involves all available resources (telesales, marketing, etc.)

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceuticals or biologics
  • A proven track record of successful territory management, account management, market share growth and product profitability
  • Passionate team player with a desire and ability to learn quickly and thrives in fast paced environment
  • Ability to travel (approximately 60-70%)
  • Southwest region: Texas applicants preferred
