Summary Description
The Nurse Educator’s role will be home-/field-based in the US Northeast with the purpose to educate Health Care Practitioners (HCPs) on PaxVax’s commercial vaccine portfolio. The Nurse Educator will be proactive in his/her approach with a key focus on helping HCPs understand the appropriate use of PaxVax’s vaccines and support patient identification. The ideal candidate will independently manage his/her work schedule, partner with the commercial team, and conduct in-services and face-to-face meetings to meet the organization’s needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key health care practitioners and stakeholders in assigned customer accounts
  • Manage, maintain, grow current business, prospect new opportunities within existing accounts
  • Partner with the commercial team to develop and execute an account plan
  • Effectively articulate and educate customers on the feature and benefits of all vaccine products
  • Support sales with clinical solutions
  • Drive generation of new product demand
  • Conduct follow-up with new customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Assist in projecting inventory needs to assure availability of product
  • Keep current on product knowledge and sales tools
  • Meet or exceed all sales revenue goals and enhance total customer value
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or RN
  • Nursing or allied health license
  • Minimum of two years of successful sales and/or account management experience with demonstrated history of customer retention and sales growth
  • Ability to communicate effectively with health care practitioners (Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practicing Nurses and Physician Assistants), educating them on vaccine use and appropriate patient identification
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite and CRM tool
  • Willingness to be flexible in work schedule in order to meet customer needs
  • Proven collaboration skills, learning agility, conceptual and strategic thinking, passion for results, and ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel approximately 40% of the time; overnight travel will be required
  • Located in US Northeast

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A BS/ BA degree
  • Two years of clinical experience as a RN
  • Two years business to business selling
