Summary Description

The Director, National Accounts – Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) is a field-based role, combining multiple attributes such as sales, business development, and account management. The successful candidate will drive sales growth, develops account strategies, manages relationships, and improves overall customer satisfaction at their assigned IDN accounts. Furthermore, the Director, National Accounts – IDNs acts as the single point of contact, develops and maintains relationships with targets, and increases sales of the overall PaxVax portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Generates sales of existing and new products at their strategic corporate accounts
  • Builds strong and mutual-beneficial relationships with customers on behalf of PaxVax
  • Actively maintains account level business development plans
  • Targets entire customer organization to build and maintain a relationship with not only clinical decision makers but also the financially responsible party and key decisions makers at the account
  • Provides leadership in the planning, designing, and implementing of strategic business objectives at strategic corporate accounts
  • Defines vision, strategies and tactics required for growth at strategic corporate accounts
  • Accountable for price and contract negotiation
  • Leads/conducts Quarterly Business Reviews s and Annual Contract Reviews with customers

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a business or science healthcare related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years selling experience with at least 2 years’ experience selling into IDNs and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs)
  • Experience in consultative sales, with a demonstrated track record of sales success
  • Experience with negotiating contracts
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven learning agility, conceptual and strategic thinking, passion for results, and ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, problem-solving ability, and influential leadership across all levels of any account
  • Business-savvy, motivated self-starter, capable of working independently and collaborate with members of the team
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Expertise in organizational analysis and project management
  • Ability to generate proposals and value propositions
  • Flexibility to travel > 50%
