Summary Description
The Digital Marketing Manager will lead digital marketing efforts within the U.S. for PaxVax. The role will provide oversight of content on our websites, execute and manage digital projects, provide strategic guidance to leverage web and social platforms to build and run lead generation programs. In addition, this role will be responsible for developing a digital marketing plan for the U.S. business, including aggregating all digital marketing activities currently taking place across the business, benchmarking those activities against external best practices, and preparing a plan to close gaps and maximize our digital marketing efforts.


  • Collaborate with marketing to understand segment and product priorities, and define the role digital marketing will play in achieving those goals
  • Continually monitor the website and social channels to ensure that information is accurate, content is current and pages are free of errors
  • Make modifications as needed to existing website and channels; build new site pages/sections and social channels as needed with agency support
  • Assist in the education of internal stakeholders on the evolution of digital and social within pharma/biotech and beyond
  • Assist in the designing, developing, and managing digital marketing campaigns
  • Planning, implementing, and monitoring the ongoing presence on social media
  • Monitor Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) metrics to forecast trends
  • Distill data into meaningful reports, insights and areas of opportunity
  • Evaluate opportunities for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and recommend tactics to build customer database and increase engagements
  • Develop and manage CRM programs with a focus on deepening engagement with key target audiences and improving the value of customer relationships
  • Keep PaxVax competitive by watching best/next practices and trends, and applying insights to our business


  • Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing or relevant field
  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in social media and digital advertising
  • Experience in the Life Sciences/Biotechnology or Healthcare industry is a huge plus
  • Expertise with most widely-used social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and scripting
  • Familiarity with website platforms/technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Self-starter that can locate problems, consult the team, and help execute solutions
  • Demonstrated learning agility and ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Ability to set goals and execute under tight deadlines
